The Steering Committee will organize the region so that <br />it can truly develop into center for Green jobs. <br />Coordinate new area marketing efforts with EDSM’s planned <br />future public relations campaign for Green Jobs. <br />o <br />As new Green workforce training programs become available at ACC <br />through the recent Green <br />Corridor Collaborative, explore <br />potential small business <br />development or recruitment <br />activities that may help build a <br />greater Green business <br />presence. <br />o <br />Support the passage of the <br />Manufacturing Progress and Clean Technology (IMPACT) Act of <br />2009, which would provide money to states for revolving loan fun <br />to help manufacturers improve their energy efficiency and transition <br />to more green/clean operation systems. <br />o <br />Support the start up and location of green companies interested <br />connecting with TXST’s talent and research assets.
