Years Three–Five Action Plan <br />The final three years of the economic development campaign are detailed below. <br />Following Year Two, Greater San Marcos Economic Development shou <br />ramped up and operating fluidly. Results from the first two yeaaign <br />will be visibly emerging. Internal dynamics, such as communication flow and <br />reporting will be seamless, allowing economic development to shi <br />more external marketing and state and federal agendas. <br /> <br />At the beginning of each new year of the campaign, Market Street recommends that <br />Greater San Marcos Economic Development and its Board review pas <br />and challenges prior to finalizing the current year’s action plan. A variety of factors <br />may require that individual action items be adjusted, particularly in the latter years of <br />the campaign. ACC, ISDs <br />Consider early college programs that provide high school students opportunity to take <br />advanced classes to earn both high school diplomas and an Associate’s degrees upon ISDs <br />graduation. <br />Action 4: Seamlessly transition high school students into training, college, and job opportunities in <br />Greater San Marcos. <br />Enhance current dual-enrollmentpartnerships between school districts and ACC through <br />ISDs, ACC <br />Career Academies. <br />Explore the addition of academy programs in entrepreneurship and target sectors.
