Consider adoption on second and final reading of Ordinance 2010 -10, amending <br />provisions of the Animal Control Ordinance pertaining to the redemption of impounded <br />animals and private animal sales; including procedural provisions; and providing an <br />effective date. <br />14. Consider adoption of Resolution 2010 -27R, approving a Chapter 380 Economic <br />Development Agreement between the City of San Marcos, Texas and 401 North <br />Fredericksburg Acquisition, L.L.C., providing for incentives in the form of refunds of a <br />portion of increased real property taxes collected over five years in an amount not to <br />exceed $610,000.00; authorizing the City Manager to execute said agreement; and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />15. Consider adoption of Resolution 2010 -31R, appointine Ryan Thomason to the Board of <br />Directors of the Capital Area Housing Finance Corporation; and declarine an effective <br />date. <br />16. Consider adoption of Resolution 2010 -32R, approving a Multiple Use Agreement <br />between the City and the State of Texas acting through the Texas Department of <br />Transportation ( "TXDOT "), to allow the City to construct and maintain a hike and bike <br />trail on the highway right of way of RM 3407 (Wonder World Drive) from RM 2439 <br />(Hunter Road) north approximately 0.6 of a mile; authorizing the City Manager to execute <br />i this agreement on behalf of the City; and declarine an effective date. <br />17. Consider adoption of Resolution 2010 -33R, approving a contract with Texas Disposal <br />Systems, Inc. for the provision of a Multi- Family Recycling Services Pilot Program for a <br />period of six months at a total not to exceed cost of $23,790.45; authorizing the City <br />Manager to execute this agreement on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. <br />18. Consider adoption of Resolution 2010 -34R, approving a Research Subaward <br />Agreement between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Texas State University -San Marcos <br />to provide fundine to the City in the amount of $40,572.00 to be applied toward salary and <br />benefits for one police officer for training and support for the Advance Law Enforcement <br />Rapid Response Training Program; authorizing the City Manager to execute said <br />agreement; and declarine an effective date. <br />19. Consider adoption of Resolution 2010 -35R, authorizing the City Manager to enter into <br />a contract for the purchase of a foreclosed single family home at 221 Capistrano Drive at a <br />price of $100,100 plus customary closing costs for rehabilitation and resale to a qualified <br />buyer under the requirements of the City's Neighborhood Stabilization Program grant; <br />authorizing the City Manager to execute such documents reasonably necessary to <br />consummate the purchase of said property; and declaring an effective date. <br />20. Consider adoption of Resolution 2010 -36R, authorizing the City Manager to enter into <br />• a contract for the purchase of a foreclosed single family home at 1700 Ramona Circle at a <br />RM030210 Minutes Page 5 <br />
