C. The Contractor will identify its vehicles and other equipment with the name, address, and <br />phone number of the Contractor's local office on each side of the vehicle so that the <br />information is clearly legible from a distance of 100 feet. <br />D. The Contractor will provide access at any time for the City to inspect its vehicles and other <br />equipment to ensure it meets the requirements of this Contract and has the proper TXDOT <br />certification. <br />E. The Contractor's vehicles used for this Program will be clearly identified as recycling <br />vehicles and will be clearly distinguishable from a garbage vehicle. <br />1.4.3 Personnel <br />A. The Contractor will provide capable drivers with the current class CDL drivers' licenses. <br />B. The Contractor will ensure that all of its employees, permanent or temporary, present a neat <br />appearance and can be easily recognized while performing work under this contract. All of <br />its employees will wear appropriate identification badges or uniforms. <br />C. The Contractor will ensure that any persons employed who are not United States citizens will <br />have valid admission (alien #). <br />D. The Contractor will remove from service under this Contract and replace any of its <br />employees for just cause as requested by the City. <br />1.4.4 Customer Service/Office Facilities <br />The Contractor will provide a facility through which it can be contacted Monday through Friday, 8 <br />a.m. - 5 p.m. The Contractor will provide sufficient local or toll free telephone numbers and <br />adequate office staff. In addition, the Contractor will provide for voice mail receipt of after-hours <br />inquiries and complaints. <br />Section 1.5 Education Program <br />1.5.1 The Contractor will be an integral part of the City's continuing effort to educate its citizens <br />regarding recycling services and will provide a high level of cooperation with the City and its <br />citizens in carrying out the services specified in this Contract. The Contractor will visit each <br />participating location established in Section 1. 1.2 before and at the conclusion of each semester at <br />Texas State University-San Marcos (at least three times during the Program). <br />1.5.2 Public Information <br />The City maintains an active public information program to educate customers about the importance <br />[6]
