F. In coordination with the City, dispatch route evaluators on a periodic basis to measure the <br />amount of recyclables per location. The Contractor's route evaluators will then determine <br />the percentage of contamination per location. Provide a monthly report to the City regarding <br />recyclable materials collected by total weight, volume of recyclables and volume of <br />contamination per location. <br />G. Ensure that its employees, officers, and agents do not identify themselves as being <br />employees or agents of the City; and ensure that all employees will wear insignia bearing the <br />Contractor's name and the individual's name. <br />H. Obtain all licenses and permits required to perform the services described in this Contract, <br />and promptly pay all taxes required by law. <br />Section 1.4 Ouality of Service <br />1.4.1 Spills/Incidents <br />A. The Contractor will not spill or leave recyclable material on the ground. If the Contractor <br />spills material it will clean the spill using all means necessary before its truck leaves the <br />premises. The Contractor will clean up liquid and hydraulic spills with the appropriate <br />absorbent material which will be carried on all trucks. If a spill leaves a stain on a roadway, <br />building, or other similar surface, the Contractor will use all reasonable means available to <br />remove the stain and restore the facility to the satisfaction of the Director. <br />B. The Contractor is responsible for injuries to any person and damage to any private or public <br />property, including City-owned property, caused by willful or negligent acts or by accidents <br />related to the Contractor's operations and activities under this Contract. <br />1.4.2 EquipmentNehicles <br />A. For the purposes of this Contract, the Contractor will operate only equipment/vehicles which <br />are suited to keeping recyclable material from falling or blowing loose. Recyclable materials <br />and waste hauled by the Contractor will be contained, tied or enclosed so that leaking, <br />spilling and blowing are prevented. All of the Contractor's equipment/vehicles will be kept <br />in good mechanical condition and will be certified under current federal and TXDOT <br />guidelines as applicable. The Contractor will utilize only that equipment/vehicles approved <br />for use under this Contract and specified in Attachment "B" to this Contract. The Contractor <br />may make changes to the equipment/vehicles list with the written consent of the Director. <br />The Contractor will not use equipment/vehicles which are more than seven years old in order <br />to provide the services required under this Contract. <br />B. The Contractor will keep all of its equipment/vehicles clean and in a good state of repair. <br />[5]
