2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City' s requirements for the Engineer's <br />services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Engineer with copies of official City design <br />standards and construction standards, and other data and information in the City's possession needed <br />by the Engineer at the Engineer's request. <br /> <br />2.2 Designate James Klein as the City's Project Manager and authorized representative to act on <br />the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will examine the documents and <br />information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render responses to the Engineer on issues <br />requiring a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.3 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter public and <br />private property as required for the Engineer to perform its services under this Agreement including <br />the coordination and provision of right of entry for field verifications and site investigations. <br /> <br />2.4 Provide copies of all available plans, studies and documentation to assist the Engineer in the <br />completion of the Project, including eXisting aerial photography, San Marcos Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant high service pump station plans, City of San Marcos Water Master Plan and City of San <br />Marcos City Planning Documents. <br /> <br />2.5 Provide digital copies of the existing topographic survey for the Project for use in the <br />preliminary design process. <br /> <br />2.6 Provide as built plans for all existing public utilities located within or adjacent to the limits <br />of construction for the project, including but not limited to water, sanitary sewer and storm drainage <br />facilities. <br /> <br />2.7 <br /> <br />2.8 <br /> <br />2.9 <br /> <br />2.10 <br /> <br />Provide City standards that may affect designs. <br /> <br />Be responsible for the cost of printing and binding of the bid documents. <br /> <br />Be responsible for the fees associated with all permits required for this Project. <br />Bear ali costs incident to this Article. <br /> <br />3.1 DEFINITION <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />CONSTRUCTION COST <br /> <br />3.1.1 The construction cost will be the total cost or estimated cost to the City of all elements of the <br />Project designed or specified by the Engineer. <br /> <br />3.1.2 The construction cost will include at current market rates, including a reasonable allowance <br />for overhead and profit, the cost of any equipment which has been designed, specified, selected or <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />
