~nfigured workstation(s) connected to the HSS through a network or phone line
3nnection. The HSS will include all the software and licenses to allow unlimited
_ oncurrent users to be signed on to the monitor and control applications software.

All of the proposed RTUs and TAC Packs will consist of equipment manufactured by
DFS. A list of the various communication and function modules proposed may be found
on the I/O sheets included in this Technical Proposal. All RTUs will be equipped with
breakers, fuses, transient filter shields, surge suppressors and isolation relays to
protect enclosed equipment from power problems. Additionally all RTU analog signals
will be protected at the RTU end by Edco surge suppressors or isolators. When
commercial power is lost, backup batteries will provide power to the RTUs to keep the
radios running, provide e~xcitation to digital inputs and maintain loop power to analog
transducers where possible.

Custom plc algorithms for pump control will be provided. Typical functionality will
provide for pumps automatically called based on the local/remote analog point
representing the GST level/system pressure. The pumps will be called in a lead/lag,
alternating, fail over fashion. We will provide software HOAs, pump faults, software Iow
level lockout and user adjustable lead/lag set points. If the control variable and the
controlled object are in the same location, the site will operate normally in the event of
a communication fail with central.

saved (25353 bYteS, 194 rows).
nh_hSp
