On roll call, the motion to adopt the amendments as summarized by the City Manager was unanimously approved. Mr. Cavazos moved to reschedule the regular meeting scheduled for Monday, May 28 to Tuesday, May 29, 1979 at the regular meeting place. Mr. Hyatt seconded the motion which passed unanimously. The Mayor introduced for consideration the re-award of a bid for a sanitation truck chassis. The City Manager explained that the low bid submitted in December by Waggoner Pontiac could not be honored by that company. Mr. Cavazos moved to accept the bid submitted by Chuck Nash Chevrolet in the amount of $12,450. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion. Mr. James moved to retain the bid bond submitted by Waggoner Pontiac to be applied against the higher cost of the Chuck Nash bid. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion. On roll call, the motion on the amendment to retain the bid bond passed with the following vote: AYE: James, Sutton, Tenorio, Cavazos, Hansen NAY: Breihan, Hyatt. On roll call, the motion to accept the Chuck Nash bid in the amount of $12,450 passed unanimously. At 8:40 p.m., the meeting was recessed to executive session to discuss the disposition and acquisition of property on motion of Mr. Tenorio and second of Mr. Breihan. The meeting recon- vened at 9:30 p.m. on motion of Mr. Hyatt and second of Mr. James. The Mayor reported that the Council had discussed the acquisition or disposition of three parcels of property. No action was taken. The meeting adjourned at 9:32 p.m. on motion of Mr. Breihan and second of Mr. James.
