70 regular meeting, september 25, 1978 page two Mr. Hyatt introduced for consideration requests for permits to temporarily locate a mobile home on property described as Lots 3 and 4 of Zack Williamson Second Addition, 1509 and 1511 Earle Street. Mr. Dan Guerra is the applicant. Mr. James moved the request be tabled with a second of Mr. Sutton. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Breihan, Sutton, James NAY: Arredondo, Hansen, Hyatt. The motion failed. Mr. Arredondo moved the permit be issued. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: I AYE: Breihan, Hansen, Hyatt, Sutton NAY: James. Mr. Hyatt next introduced a request for a permit to temporarily locate a mobile home on Lots 15 and 16, Block 2 of the Westover Addition, 1411 1/2 Franklin. The applicant is Homer Hamilton, Jr. Mr. Hansen moved the permit be issued. Mr. Arredondo seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mr. Hyatt reopened the public hearing on a request by Entex, Inc. for an increase in natural gas rates. Mr. Alvin Langhamer and Mr. Harry Overstreet were present to represent Entex, Inc. Mrs. Ofelia Vasquez, representing the Board of Directors of Community Action, Inc., came before the Council to protest the fact that the proposed rates represented a higher percentage increase for low usage customers than higher usage customers. Mr. Hyatt closed the hearing and moved to defer action on the Entex request to a later date. Mr: Hansen seconded the motion which passed unanimously.'. Mr. Hyatt read the caption of a resolution as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, URGING VOTER PARTICIPATION IN THE BOND ELECTION OF THE UPPER SAN MARCOS WATERSHED RECLAMATION AND FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT ON OCTOBER 5, 1978; AND URGING PASSAGE OF SAID SALE OF BONDS TO THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF SAID DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. I Mr. Breihan moved the resolution be adopted. Mr. James seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
