<br />I <br /> <br />and one (1) Mayor, who, together with the <br />four (4) Council Members whose terms have <br />not expired shall constitute the City <br />Council. At the first regular meeting <br />following the adoption of this Charter <br />Amendment, those Council Members holding <br />places 1, 2, and 3 on the City Council shall <br />determine by lot which of these places will <br />become the place of Mayor in the next regular <br />election to be held April 5, 1980. At the <br />same regular meeting, following the drawing <br />for place of Mayor all Council Members except <br />that person holding that place which has been <br />declared the place of Mayor for the 1980 <br />election shall draw for a new place number <br />according to the year in which their terms <br />expire. Terms expiring in 1980 are assigned <br />places 1 and 2. Terms expiring in 1981 are <br />assigned places 3 and 4. Terms expiring in <br />1982 are assigned places 5 and 6. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. Section 3.04. Compensation <br /> <br />The Mayor shall be paid a salary of five hundred dollars <br />a month. Each Council Member occupying places 1 through <br />6 shall be paid a salary of two hundred dollars a month. <br />Said payments shall be made in bi-weekly installments; <br />in addition, the Mayor and each Council Member shall be <br />entitled to all necessary expenses incurred in the <br />performance of their official duties. <br />
