Mr. Arredondo seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Dr. Craddock moved to approve $17,000 for industrial development, specifically the . City I s share of a community program to hire a person to promote industrial development, placing a time limit of December 1, 1976 on the allocation, after which date if the funds had not been matched by the County and Chamber of Commerce, the would be allocated to another program. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. By conlD1on consent the Council also approved the allocation of $6,000 for paint I and bl~tons for street marking, $6,006 for a portable building for Scheib Opportunity Center, and $1,000 for aerial photographs of the city for planning purposes. Mr. Hansen moved that the Resolution approving the Planned Use Report (attached) be approved. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read a Resolution, the caption of which is as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDS TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR A "701" LOCAL PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT PROGRAM GRANT AND DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER AS THE RESPONSIBLE OFFICIAL FOR CARRYING OUT THE PROGRAM SHOULD IT BE FUNDED. Mr. Arredondo moved approval of the Resolution, placing a $14,000 limit on the total :program by deleting the aerial maps previously in the revenue sharing program.
