68 regular meeting, july 12, 1916 page three The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING AND FIXING THE MAXIMUM SCHEDULES OF RATES TO BE CHARGED BY ENTEX, INC., IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FOR NATURAL GAS AND NATURAL GAS SERVICE FURNISHED BY IT TO RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL CONSUMERS, CONTAINING DEFINITIONS, FIXING THE EFFECTIVE DATES FOR GAS RATES PRESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, MAKING MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT. I Mr. Hansen moved the Ordinance be adopted on third and final reading. Mr. James seconded the motion. Mr. Sutton withdrew his earlier objections to the Ordinance, stating that he had received a satisfactory legal opinion. On roll call, the motion was unanimously approved. The meeting adjourned to executive session at 9:05 p.m. on motion of Mr. Hansen and second of Mr. James. The meeting reconvened in regular session at 9:45 p.m. on motion of Mr. Hansen and second of Mr. James. Mayor Craddock reported that the Council had heard recommendations from the subcommittee appointed to review the Council appointed positions. Mr. Hansen moved that the cost of living increase granted previously to unclassified employees be extended to the City Manager Eilid City Secretary, and extended in the same increments. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
