Williams <br /> <br />Also present: Jake Krauskopf; Terry Roberts; Mary Salinas; Ron Champion; Garlanc, Stokes; <br />Ernest Navarro; Tom Hamilton; John Williamson; Pedro Grimaldo; <br />Shirley Wickersham; Allen King; Jerri Martin; Melissa Millecam; <br />Gary Bond; and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 28, 1977 were approved on motion of <br />Mr. Sutton and second of Mr. Hansen. The Minutes of the Special Meeting held Mro:ch 7, <br />1977 were approved on motion of Mr. Hansen and second of Mr. Sutton. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration the confirmation of the appointment of a <br />Municipal Court Clerk. The City Manager informed the Council that his appointment <br />was Mrs. Mary Salinas, currently an employee in the Accounting Department. Mr. ,\rredondo I <br />moved the appointment be confirmed. Mr. Brei han sec onded the motion, which pas sed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Breihan moved to table the appointment of a committee to review the Municipal <br />Court operation. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider a re~uest for a change in the <br />zoning of Lots 9 through 13 of Block 3 and Lot 25 of Block D in the Hughson Heights <br />Subdivision, Addition #1, from "R-l" to "R-2" for Lots 9 through 13 and from "R-2" <br />to "D" for Lot 25. H. Garland Stokes, vice president of Hughson Heights, Inc., came <br />before the Council to re~uest the change. It was noted that one letter of objection <br />had been received. There were no further objections presented at the hearing. The <br />Mayor closed the hearing and read an Ordinance having the following caption: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING, <br />SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND <br />USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING <br />THE ZONING OF LOTS 9 THROUGH 13, BLOCK C OFHHUGHSON HEIGHTS ADDITION NUMBEF: ONE, <br />FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO "R-2" (DUPLEX) AND LOT 25, BLOCK D <br />OF HUGHSON HEIGHTS ADDITION NUMBER ONE, FROM "R-2" (DUPLEX) TO "D" (MULTIFAMILY); <br />SAID PROPERTY LOCATED ON L.B.J. DRIVE AND L.B.J. COVE. <br /> <br />Mr. Sutton moved the Ordinance be approved on first reading. Mr. Cavazos seconcled the <br />motion,which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Cavazos moved approval of a permit to temporarily locate a mobile home on part <br />of Lot 73, A.M. Ramsay Addition, located near the intersection of Third and Se~lin <br />streets, re~uested by Ernest Navarro. Mr. Arredondo seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Cavazos moved approval of a permit to temporarily locate a mobile home on a tract <br />of .71 acres on Loop 80, re~uested by Tom Hamilton. Mr. James seconded the motion, <br />which, passed unanimously. <br />
