On roll call, the motion to adopt the Ordinance was unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen read the caption of a Resolution as follows: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A RESOUJI'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF A & A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY PS <br />THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BID SUBMITTED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF CONCRETE CURB AND GlJITER, APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH <br />A & A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE <br />CURB AND GlJITER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID <br />CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS. <br /> <br />Dr. Craddock moved the resolution be adopted. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion <br />Mr. Webster reported that only one other bid had been submitted and that the <br />contract was based on the lowest bid received. On roll call, the motion to <br />adopt the resolution was unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen opened a public hearing to consider use of Economic Development <br />Administration Funds. The City Manager summarized the proposed uses which are <br />described in a memorandum from the Director of Public Works to the City Man,~er, <br />a copy of which is attached and made a part of these minutes. Mr. Sutton moved <br />to authorize the City Manager to proceed with the Economic Development <br />Administration Fund Budget as proposed. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro Tem directed the reading of an Ordinance having the following <br />caption: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF LOT 31 OF THE RIVERSIDE <br />ADDITION, AlSO KNOWN PS URBAN RENEWAL PARCEL NO. l7-D-4, <br />LOCATED WITHIN THE TEX. A-6, NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PR03RAM <br />AREA, TO JESSE C. SAUCEDO; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />A WARRANTY DEED TO JESSE C. SAUCEDO; AND DEClARING, AN <br />EMERGENCY. . <br /> <br />Mr. Cavazos moved the Ordinance be adopted on emergency basis.
