41 regular meeting, february 6, 1978 page four AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THAT ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR FEES FOR THE IMPOUNDMENT OF ANIMALS, SAID ORDINANCE BEING RECORDED IN VOLUME 40 PAGE 63 OF THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND CODIFIED AS SECTION 3-46 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, BY INCREASING SPECIFIED FEES; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Hansen moved the ordinance be approved on second reading. Mr. James seconded the motion which passed unanimously. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THAT ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR MEAT AND MEAT PRODUCTS PERMIT FEES, SAID ORDINANCE BEING RECORDED IN . VOLUME 40, PAGE 29 OF THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND CODIFIED AS SECTION 11-56 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, BY INCREASING SAID FEES; AND ESTABLISH- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. I The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: Mr. Cavazos moved the ordinance be approved on second reading. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion which passed unanimously. The Mayor introduced for consideration the appointment of a Council Member to the Upper San Marcos Watershed Reclamation and Flood Control Advisory Board. He noted that Mr. Breihan had been appointed the Council Member to represent the City during his first term on the Council. Mr. Breihan gave a brief presentation on the current activities of the Board. Mr. Sutton moved that Mr. James be appointed to succeed Mr. Breihan as the Council's representative on the Watershed Advisory Board. Mr. Arredondo seconded the motion which passed with the following vote: Aye: Sutton, Breihan, Cavazos, Arredondo, Hansen Nay: None Abstain: James I The City Manager informed the Council that he was beginning the interviews with prospective Directors of Public Safety and that he anticipated the expense of the interview program would be between $400 and $500.
