MP. Hansen moved the ordinance be approved on second reading. MP. Breihan I seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mr'. Breihan moved the ordinance be adopted on third and final reading. MP. Sutton seconded the motion. MPs. Johrmie Armstead, Reverend Miguel Barrios, and MPs. Donna Throckmorton Moore came before the Council to restate previous objections made to the change in zoning. Also present to participate in the discussion was Planning and Zoning Commissioner Bob Hyatt. On roll call, the motion to adopt the ordinance on third and final reading passed with the following vote: Aye: Arredondo, Hansen, James, Sutton, Breihan, Cavazos Nay: Craddock I The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES FOR REQUESTING INFORMATION, INSPECTING CITY RECORDS, AND COPYING CITY RECORDS; AUTHORIZ- ING THE CITY MANAGER TO COMPILE AND MAINTAIN A RECORDS RETENTION SCHEDULE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. MP. James moved the ordinance be approved on second reading. Dr. Craddock seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
