As directed by Ordinance #1978-5, approved by the City COilllcil on <br />January 23, 1978, members of the Airport Corranission conducted an <br />appraisal of Arnold Schaeferkoeter's confonnance to the agricultural <br />lease dated January 1, 1977. The appraisal was conducted by Jack <br />Stovall and Howard Yieargan on February 16-20, 1978. Person contacted <br />was Arnold Schaeferkoeter. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. MAJOR DEFICIENCIES: <br /> <br />Failure to pay rent on time. <br /> <br />3. MINOR DEFICIENCIES: <br /> <br />A. Slow to establish sod borders on runways and waterways. <br /> <br />B. Failure to clearly mark farm equipment when in use. <br /> <br />C. Occasional rocks left on runways from farm equipment. <br /> <br />D. Allowing grass to reduce runway light visibility on one occadon. <br /> <br />4. COMMENTS : <br /> <br />A. M.ajor deficiencies in payment of rent was due to an almost total <br />crop failure of about 600 acres of milo. Land has been replanted <br />in wheat and oats which are now standing. Rilllway borders flat- <br />plowed and border planting will begin in spring. <br /> <br />Lessee agrees to mark equipment with flags irrmediately. <br /> <br />Lessee agrees to remove rocks now present and take more care to <br />
