Mr. Hyatt seconded the motion. On roll <br />call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Arredondo, Breihan, Hansen, Cavazos, <br />Hyatt, Sutton <br />James <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS,' AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 21 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, ENTITLED "PUBLIC <br />SAFETY", SAID ORDINANCE BEING RECORDED IN <br />VOLUME 45, PAGE 172 OF THE MINUTES OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Hyatt moved the ordinance be adopted on third and final <br />reading. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />At 9:50 p.m., Mr. Hyatt moved the meeting recess to <br />executive session to discuss personnel matters and pending <br />litigation. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The meeting reconvened at 11:15 p.m. on motion of Mr. Hansen <br />and second of Mr. James. The Mayor reported that the Council <br />had discussed alleged irregularities in the employment of <br />persons under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act. <br />Mr. James moved to request that the Williamson-Burnet County <br />Opportunities, Inc., administrator of the local C.E.T.A. <br />Program, be requested to conduct a full investigation includ- <br />ing every city C.E.T.A. position and not simply those in <br />question. Mr. Hyatt seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Arredondo requested the report be sent to <br />the Department of Labor. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:17 p.m. on motion of Mr. Cavazos <br />and second of Mr. Hyatt. <br /> <br />t?~C~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Frank T.
