Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follovs: AN ORDINANCE OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MA.Y 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 316 THROUGH 321 AND 381 THROUGH 384 OF BLOCK 15 OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION, LOCATED ON THAT BLeCK BOUNDED BY EARLE, ALLEN, DELMAR AND BISHOP STREETS, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMIrLY RESIDENTIAL) TO "P_l" (PUBLIC). I Mr. Hansen moved the Ordinance be adopted on third and final reading. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows:', AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THAT ORDINANCE WHICH ADOPTS RULES .AND ORDER OF BUSINESS FOR SAID CITY COUNCIL, BY PROVIDING FOR REGULAR WEEKLY MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE DURATION OF A REVIEW PERIOD TO END SEPTEMBER 30, 1977. Mr. James moved the Ordinance be adopted on third and final .reading. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The City Manager reported that the staff was not prepared to consider a recommendation on the ordinance deleting the fire district (agenda item #13-C) Mr. Baugh also pointed out that the agenda called for the ordinance to be considered on third and final reading when it had been tabled on second reading at the last meeting. Mayor Craddock moved to reconsider the Minutes of the April 25 Regular Meeting, and to correct them to reflect the Ordinance having been tabled rather than passed on second reading. Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Dr. Craddock announced that the second quarterly fiscal report appearing as the next agenda item was postponed until the next meeting. I Mr. James moved to recess to reconvene in regular session on Monday, May 2,1977, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall to canvass the returns of the April 30 Special Election. The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Craddock issued proclamations in observance of Little League Week; Historical Preservation We~, and National Music Week.
