<br />14 <br /> <br />regular meeting, april 25, 1977 <br /> <br />page four <br /> <br />Mr. Sutton moved to accept the bid submitted by Chuck Nash of San Marcos and <br />authorize the purchase of four police vehicles from Nash Motor Company in the <br />amount of $21,616.72. Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follovs: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING <br />SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND <br />USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MA.Y 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY <br />CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 316 THROUGH 321 AND 381 THROUGH 384 OF BLOCK 15 <br />OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION, LOCATED ON THAT BLeCK BOUNDED BY EARLE, ALLEN, <br />DELMAR AND BISHOP STREETS, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMIrLY RESIDENTIAL) TO <br />"P_l" (PUBLIC). <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved the Ordinance be adopted on third and final reading. Mr. Cavazos <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows:', <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING <br />THAT ORDINANCE WHICH ADOPTS RULES .AND ORDER OF BUSINESS FOR SAID CITY COUNCIL, <br />BY PROVIDING FOR REGULAR WEEKLY MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE DURATION <br />OF A REVIEW PERIOD TO END SEPTEMBER 30, 1977. <br /> <br />Mr. James moved the Ordinance be adopted on third and final .reading. Mr. Hansen <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The City Manager reported that the staff was not prepared to consider a recommendation <br />on the ordinance deleting the fire district (agenda item #13-C) Mr. Baugh also <br />pointed out that the agenda called for the ordinance to be considered on third and <br />final reading when it had been tabled on second reading at the last meeting. <br />Mayor Craddock moved to reconsider the Minutes of the April 25 Regular Meeting, and <br />to correct them to reflect the Ordinance having been tabled rather than passed on <br />second reading. Mr. James seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Dr. Craddock announced that the second quarterly fiscal report appearing as the next <br />agenda item was postponed until the next meeting. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. James moved to recess to reconvene in regular session on Monday, May 2,1977, <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall to canvass the returns of the <br />April 30 Special Election.
