8"6 I MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JULY 25, 1977. Present: Mayor Frank T. Arredondo Council Member Ted Breihan Robert L. Cavazos Emmie Craddock John Hansen Berry R. James Kenneth E. Sutton City Manager City Attorney_ City Secretary Director of Public Safety Albert Sierra Charles-E. Evans Doriss Hambrick W.R. Nelson Also present: Roy Porter; James Varnell; Pat Black; Alan King; T.S. Lighthouse; James E. Byrn; Mrs. H.M. Thompson; Larry McInis; Howard Herrin; Gene Gardner; Gary Bond; Terry Roberts; Gordon Thompson; Mary Salinas; John McCrocklin; Kenneth Harrell; and others. The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.. I The minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 18th were approved on motion of Mr. James and second of Mr. Hansen with Council Member Cavazos abstaining. The minutes of the Special Meetings held July 15th, July 19th and July 20th were approved on motion of Mr. James and second of Mr. Cavazos. Dr. Craddock moved approval of a request for a permit for Mrs. Lupe Juarez to locate a mobile home on Lot 8 of the A. M. Ramsay Addition, 400 Mill Street. It was noted that Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request and that no objections had been received. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Dr. Craddock moved approval of the renewal of a permit for Mrs. H.M. Thompson to locate a mobile home on lots 3 and 4, Block 1 of the Belvin Addition, located at the rear of 727 Belvin Street. It was noted the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request and that no objections had been received. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mr. Sutton moved to approve a request by Otis Drumm and Lucille Linneweber to loca' a mobile home on Lots 12 and 13 of the Millview Addition, 1508 Loop 82 North. The Planning and Zoning Commission had recommended approval of the request; no objections have been received. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion which passed unanimously. I The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE CF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LCCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 ( BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF A 17.105 ACRE TRACT OUT OF THE J.M. ITERAMENDI SURVEY NUMBER TWO, ABSTRACT NUMBER SEVENTEEN, LOCATED ON THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY NUMBER 35 NORTH FRONTAGE ROAD AT LOOP 82 OVERPASS, FRO;~ "c" (COMMERCIAL) TO "I" (INDUSTRIAL). Dr. Craddock moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded.
