Leddick Albert Sierra Also Present: Allen King, Bill Cunningham, Jerri Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thompson, John Dennison, Betty Champagne, Rose Arredondo, Frank Ortegon, Don Butler, r.harles Herring, Chris Brasher~ Howard Herrin, Terry Roberts, Phillip Guerrero, Gilbert Tenorio, Mary Taylor, Gary McBride, Milton Vaverek, Gary Bond, Mary Castillo. Doughty Miller and others. The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Arred0ndo recognized Mrs. Arredondo and Mrs. Shig representing the BO'<lie Booster Club who came before the Council to present Certificates of Appreciation to City interns, Mary Taylor, Gary McBride, Renetta McCall, and Patricia Joseph and to John Conner. Recreation Supervisor, all of "horn assisted in the ~owie School CarnivaL I The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 31, 1977, were approved on motion of Mr. Cavazos and second of Mr. Hansen with Dr. Craddock abstaining from the vote due to her absence from the meeting. The Mayor introduced Agenda Item #11 out of order. He announced that the staff had recommended consideration of the Ordinance Establishing "No Parking" Zones be delayed d~e to the need for further study of the situation. Dr. Craddock moved the Ordinance be tabled. Mr. James seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mr. Sutton moved to confirm the appointment of Pete Rodriguez as a regular member and Milton Vaverek as an alternate member to the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals. Mr. James seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Dr. Craddock moved to appoint Mrs. Chris Brasher, Mrs. Betty Champagne and Mr. Robert Pollard to fill unexpired terms on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion ",hich passed unanimously. 11r. nreihan, in view of the fact that the unexpired terms on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board terminated within a few.months, moved to appoint Mrs. Brasher, Mrs. Champagne and Mr. Pollard to fill two year terms to expire 1980. Mr. James seconded the motion which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: I AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEY~S, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRIC~S THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOLUME 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING LOTS 47 THROUGH 49 OF BLOCK 1 OF THE RIO VISTA TERRACE ADDITION, LOCATED AT 711 INTERSTATE HIGlfWAY 35 NORTH, FROM "c" COMMERCIAL TO "C2" COMMERCIAL. Mr. James moved the Ordinance be adopted on third and final readine. Dr. Craddock seconded the motion which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows:
