The City Manager stated that the assumption of <br />financial administration of the program would not increase the cost of the <br />program to the City and that directive administrative cost were reimbursable. <br />On the roll call, the motion to adopt the resolution was passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Breihan moved to notify Mr. James Califano of the Department of Health, <br />Education and Welfare and Congressman J. J. Pickle that the Council was <br />opposed to the removing of the obstetric and pediatric services from the <br />Hays Memorial Hospital which would require San Marcos citizens to travel to <br />Austin or San Antonio for those services.
