1, REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUGUST 13, 1979 Present: Mayor John A. Hansen Council Members Ted Breihan Robert L. Cavazos Bob Hyatt Berry R. I The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Hansen issued a proclamation in observance of the 'anniversary of the Community Action Agency program. Mr. Cavazos moved the minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 23, 1979 be approved. Mr. James seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mr. James moved the minutes of the Special Meeting held July 30, 1979 be approved. Mr. Tenorio seconded the motion. Council requested that the minutes be corrected to provide for Mr. Hyatt's vote at the bottom of page 1 to be shown as "Aye" and for the deletion of the phrase "parent company of Butler Manufacturing Company" on page 2. Mr. James and Mr. Tenorio agreed to the corrections. On roll call the motion to approve the minutes as corrected was unanimously passed. Mr. James moved to reschedule the Regular Meeting set for August 27, 1979 for Tuesday, August 28, 1979. The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE GIFT OF MONEY FROM THE SAN MARCOS LIONS CLUB FOR THE PURCHASE OF TABLES AND CHAIRS TO BE USED IN THE CITY PARK RECREATION HALL. Mr. Tenorio moved the Resolution be adopted. Mr. Hyatt seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Members of the San Marcos Lions Club which meets at Noon were present and recognized by the Council.
