<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />71 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7Q <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A CEMETERY <br />MAINTENANCE CON'T'RACT FOR THE CITY <br />OF SAN PARCOS, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING <br />FINAL PAYMENT FOR THIS MAINTENANCE <br />CONTRACT; AND ESTABLISHING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has contracted with <br />Bill Allen, doing business as Allen Cabinet Shop, for the <br />maintenance of cemetery grounds at the San Marcos Cemetery, <br />San Marcos, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the maintenance of the cemetery grounds was <br />completed on September 30, 1979; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Secretary inspected the cemetery grounds <br />on September 30, 1979 and determined that the contractual <br />provisions for maintenance of said cemetery grounds had <br />been substantially met by Allen Cabinet Shop on that date; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Secretary recommends that the City Council <br />accepts the completion ofth~ maiNtenance~contiract for the <br />cemetery grounds on September 30, 1979, and authorize final <br />payment to Allen Cabinet Shop in the amount of nine hundred <br />forty seven dollars and fifty one cents ($947.51); and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bill Allen requests final payment for the completion <br />of the maintenance contract; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the work performed by Allen Cabinet Shop <br />in maintaining the San Marcos cemetery grounds be, and is <br />hereby, accepted as being complete effective on the 30th <br />of September A.D., 1979, pursuant to the terms of the contract <br />for said maintenance. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That the City of San Marcos is hereby authorized <br />to make the final payment to Allen Cabinet Shop for said <br />maintenance in the amount of nine hundred forty seven dollars <br />and fifty one cents ($947.51). <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
