Moore. I The Minutes of the February 2 regular meeting were approved on motion of Mr. Etheredge and second of Mr. King. The Minutes of the March ~ special meeting were approved on motion of Councilman Yarbrough and second of Councilman Etheredge with Councilmen King and Tauch abstalning due to their absence at the meeting. The Minutes of the recessed regular meeting of March 7 were approved on motion of Mr. Etheredge and second of Mr. King with Councilmen Cunningham, DeLa Rosa and Tauch abstaining. The Mayor introduced an Ordinance and the City Secretary read the caption as follows: AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING AND FIXING THE MAXIMUM SCHEDULES OF RATES TO BE CHARGED BY UNITED GAS, INC. IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FOR NATURAL GAS AND NATURAL GAS SERVICE FURNISHED BY IT TO RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL USERS, CONTAINING DEFINITIONS, FIXING THE EFFECTIVE DATES OF GAS RATES PRESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, MAKING MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT. Mr. King moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion. On roll call, the fOilowing vote was recorded: AYE: DeL a Rosa, Etheredge, Flores, Ring, Tauch, Yarbrough NAY: Cunningham I The Mayor declared the Ordinance approved on second reading. The Mayor introduced an Ordinance and read the caption as follows; AN AMENDATORY ORDINANCE RELATING TO POOL HALLS: PARTICULARLY, TO THEIR HOURS OF OPERATION, AND REPEAL OF THE PROHIBITION OF THE SALE, USE OR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES UPON SUCH PREMISES; AMENDING ARTICLE III. OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS BY AMENDING SECT. 22-46 THEREOF AND BY REPEALING SECT. 2l-47 THEREOF; AND PROVIDING AN E1<'FECTIVE DATE.
