I The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 23 were approved as presented on motion of Mr. Flores and second of Dr. Tauch, with Mr. King abstaining. The Minutes of the Special Meeting of April 26 were approved as presented on motion of Mr. Cunningham and second of Dr. Tauch, with Mr. Etheredge and Mr. King abstaining. The Minutes of the Special Recessed Meeting of May 2 were approved on motion of Mr. Flores and second of Mr. King, with Councilmen Cunningham and Tauch abstaining. Mayor Etheredge reported that, at an executive session held May 2, 1973, the resignation of the City Secretary, Dorothy O. Worrell, effective July 1, 1973, had been accepted. He further reported that executive sessions had been held May 8 and May 9 with reference to personnel matters, and that the resignation of the City Manager had been requested on May 9, 1973. The Oath of Office was administered to newly elected Councilman Bill Dibrell by the Mayor. The Mayor opened a public hearing to consider a request for a change in zoning of the north 1/3 of Lot 3, Block 13 in the Original Town of San Marcos, located at 130 S. L.B.J. Drive, from "C" to "C-2". Harold O. Perkins, applicant, was present to request the change. There was no opposition voiced. The Mayor declared the public hearing closed and read the caption of an ordinance as follows: I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF THE NORTH 1/3 OF LOT 3, BLOCK 13 OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN MARCOS, LOCATED AT 130 SOUTH L.B.J. DRIVE, FROM "c" (COMMERCIAL) TO "C-2" (COMMERCIAL). Dr. Tauch moved the Ordinance be approved on first reading. Mr. Cunningham seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
