The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. I The Minutes of the June 25 meeting were approved on motion of Councilman King and second of Councilman Dibrell. The Mayor opened a public hearing to consider a change in zoning of part of lot 9, John Scott Addition, located at 127 Scott Street from "D" to "M". Attorney Wi II i am..Ruge I ey was present to represent the applicant, Mrs, M.H. Cooper. No objections were made to the change. The Mayor closed the public hearing and read the caption of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE lOCATION AND USE OF BUilDINGS, STRUCTURES AND lAND, DATED MAY 23,1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF PART OF LOT 9 OF THE JOHN SCOTT ADDITION, lOCATED AT 127 SCOTT STREET, FROM "D" (MULTIFAMILY) TO "M" (MIXED). Mr. King moved the Ordinance be approved on first reading. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously, The Mayor opened a public hearing to consider a change in zoning of Lot 1 of the EI iseo Guerrero Subdivision, located at the corner of Alex Street and I.H. 35 South, from "C" to "C-2". Mr. Alex Guerrero, jr" the appl icant, was present. No objections were made to the requested change.
