Farmer; Mr. & Mrs. Dick Crunk; Melissa Millecam; Jerri Martin; Derek Aldridge; Aart Mi Ilecam; Jon Sparks The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. I II The Minutes of the July 9 Regular Meeting were approved on motion of Mr. DeLa Rosa and second of Dr. Tauch. The Minutes of the July 13 Special Meeting were approved on motion of, Mr. DeLa Rosa and second of Dr. Tauch with Mr. Flores abstaining. The Mayor opened a Publ ic Hearing to consider a change in zoning of Lot 114 in the Park Addition, located at 817 Chestnut Street, from "D" to "Cu. Mrs. Lurline Herring, appl icant, was present to request the change. There were no objections to the change. The Mayor closed the publ ic hearing and read the caption of an ordinance as follows: -I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING'SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND ,~ESrRICTS THE lOCATION AND USE OF SUI LDI NGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 114 IN THE PARK ADDITION, LOCATED AT 817.CHESTNUT STREET, FROM "0" (MULTIFAMilY) TO "C. (COMMERCIAL). Mr. Dibrell moved the Ordinance be approved on first reading. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. I The Mayor opened a Publ ic Hearing to consider a change in zoning of part of Lot 8, Block 23 in the Original Town of San Marcos, located at 300 North L. B. J. Dr i ve, from "C" to "C-2" . Art Ab I es was present to represent the app I i cants. Mr. Ables stated that the present plans called for the entire building on the corner of L.B.J. Orive and Hutchison Street to be zoned "C-2", but that at present, only one business would be serving alcohol ic beverages for on-premises consumption. There were no objections made to the change. The Mayor closed the hearing and read the caption of an ordinance as fol lows:
