<br />regular meeting, september 10, 1973 <br /> <br />page five <br /> <br />)~c <br /> <br />Mr. Dibrell moved approval of the request from the First United <br />Methodist Church (see letter attached) for six parking meters <br />to be placed on the church property side of West Hutchison Street <br />from Post Office Alley to Fredericksburg Street, and that an <br />exemption be allowed so that for funer1s, weddings, or all day <br />church functions, the meters might be covered. Mr. DeLa Rosa <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Etheredge announced that members of the Council and their <br />wives were invited as honored guests to the National Bicentennial <br />Flag presentation and the Chi1ympiad Parade to be held on <br />September 21, 1973. <br /> <br />Dr. Tauch requested representatives of Aquarena, Inc. be <br />invited to the workshop meeting on October 1 to discuss ways <br />to reduce pollution of the San Marcos River. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLa Rosa moved Mrs. Rachel Gaitan be reappointed to the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission.
