1159 regular meeting, september 10, 1973 page four The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE(OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF BLOCK 43 OF THE VICTORY GARDENS SECOND ADDITION, LOCATED AT 1228 I.H. 35 SOUTH, FROM "c" (COMMERCIAL) TO "C-2" (COMMERCIAL). Mr. DeLa Rosa moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. Mr. Cunningham seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 110, Ill, 115 AND 116 OF THE PARK ADDITION, FROM "D" (MULTIFAMILY) TO "c" (COMMERCIAL). Mr. Dibrell moved the Ordinance be approved on third reading. Mr. King seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Cunningham, DeLa Rosa, Dibrell, Etheredge, Flores, King, Tauch NAY: None The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. Mayor Etheredge read the caption of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BY SUBSTITUTING FOR THE PRESENT SECTION 15 OF THE GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE (APPENDIX "A" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS), A REVISED I AND AMENDED SECTION UNDER THE SAME NUMBER AND DESIGNATION, NAMELY, "LAND COVERAGE". Dr. Tauch moved the Ordinance be approved on third reading. Mr. King seconded the motion. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Cunningham, DeLa Rosa, Dibrell, Etheredge, Flores, King, Tauch NAY: None The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. Mr. King moved Mrs. Jane Evans be appointed to the Library Board. Mr. DeLa Rosa seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Dr. Tauch moved Gilbert Medina, Jack N. Stovall and Charlie Williams be reappointed to the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners. Mr Flores seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. King moved Dr. Nilon Tallant be reappointed City Health Officer. Mr. Dibrell seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Dibrell moved Dr. Tallant also be named Acting Director of the San Marcos-Hays County Health Department, I to serve until Dr. B.M. Primer is able to reassume his duties. Mr. King seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. King nominated Dr. Stanley Ault for appointment to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. Etheredge nominated Lyndon Mellinger for the same appointment.
