Price, Jr., President of the San Marcos Telephone <br />Company, came before the Council with a request for a rate <br />increase on ~esidentiAI ~nd commercial accounts in the "392" <br />exchange. Mr. Price presented an anal~sis of op~rating cost <br />increases since 1954 when the present rates were establ ished. <br />Fpllowing his presentation, Mr. Price entertained questions <br />from the Council and visitors. Mr, King thanked Mr. Price for <br />coming, and assured him that the Council would study his <br />prop.osa'l sand pi aC,e the matte,r on the Agenda for consi derat i on <br />at a I ater date. <br /> <br />Mr. Yarbrough nominated Mr. Rodney Baughn to fill a vacancy on I <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. King nominated Mrs. Merry McCall Fitzp'atrick to fi II a <br />vacancy on the Library Board. <br />
