The following is a recap of that opening. <br /> <br />Truck Chassis <br />Simon-Gregg Ford - big on LN 750 <br /> <br />bid $6,161.04 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A. <br />B. <br /> <br />Bid Options <br />Full Air breaks - <br />Four Speed Automatic Transmission- <br /> <br />$ 432.50 <br />$ 718.00 <br /> <br />Simon-Gregg Ford was the only vendor to bid on this item. <br />However, pre-bid surveys indicate that the bid submitted by them <br />was fair and reasonable. Further, it would be my recommendation <br />to include bid options A & B because of the size truc~, about <br />31,000 GVW, and Compaction body, 28 Cu. Yards and 21 Feet long. <br />The addition of these options would make it easier to handle in <br />the downtown area and safer to operate. <br /> <br />I would, then, recommend awarding the bid to Simon-Gregg Ford. <br />The total bid, with options, is $7,311.54. <br /> <br /> <br />James B.
