Mr. James seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration designation of a polling <br />place for newly annexed areas. The City Secretary explained that <br />councty precincts 10, 21 and 32 had some people in them who were <br />brought into the city upon the annexation of property in those areas. <br />Due to a short amount of time involved with this election, it was <br />suggested to centralize their voting at the Public Library. Mr. <br />James moved to have those people affected by the annexations to be <br />able to vote at the Public Library. Mr. Brown seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Council recessed to executive session at 8:05 p.m. on motion of <br />Mrs. Norris and second of Mr. Brown. The Council reconvened in regular <br />session at 8:30 p.m. on motion of Mrs. Norris and second of Mr. Cavazos. <br />Mrs. Norris moved to hire Janis Womack as City Secretary effective <br />April 13 and to appoint Patsy Greiner as Acting City Secretary effective <br />April 1, 1981. Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m. on motion of Mrs. Norris and second <br />of Mr. Tarbutton. <br /> <br />Karl W.
