I I I 84 regular meeting, february 25, 1974 page three Mr. Etheredge read the caption of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 73 OF THE THIRD DIVISION OF THE PARK ADDITION, LOCATED AT 1109 NORTH L.B.J. DRIVE, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO "M" (MIXED). Dr. Tauch moved the Ordinance be approved on third reading. Mr. Dibrell seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS BY CREATING APPENDIX E, PROVIDING MINIMUM STANDARDS FOR MOBILE HOME PARKS; ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS FOR DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION, EXTENSION AND MAINTENANCE OF MOBILE HOME PARKS AND RELATED UTILITIES AND FACILITIES; AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION AND EXTENSION OF MOBILE HOME PARKS; AUTHORIZING THE INSPECTION OF MOBILE HOME PARKS; FIXING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Dr. Tauch moved the Ordinance be approved on third reading. Mr. Dibrell seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor introduced a Resolution and read its caption as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING FIRST NATIONAL BANK, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, A DEPOSITORY OF THIS CITY; AND FURTHER DESIGNATING THE CITY OFFICIALS WHO MAY SIGN CHECKS, DRAFTS, NOTES OR ORDERS DRAWN AGAINST THE CITY'S ACCOUNT WITH FIRST NATIONAL BANK. Mr. Dibrell moved approval of the Resolution. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Councilmen, by common consent, tabled the appointments of members to the Show Barn Advisory Board. Mr. Cunningham moved John Pfeffer be appointed to the Parks 'and Recreation Board. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Cunningham, DeLa Rosa, Etheredge, Flores NAY: Dibrell, Tauch Mr. Cunningham moved appointment of Pete Rodriguez as an alternate to the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals. Mr. Dibrell questioned the legality of Mr. Rodriguez serving as a School Board Trustee and on a City Board as well.
