Mr. Flores moved approval of the appointment of Mrs. Vi11a1panda as Presiding Judge for that precinct. Mr. DeLa Rasa seconded the motion. On roll call, the fol1awing vate was recorded: AYE: Cunningham, DeLa Rasa, King, Craddock, Flores, Tauch NAY: Dibrell. I Mr. Dibrell moved approval af the appointment of Howard Yeargan as Presiding Judge for Precinct Number Fifteen. Dr.' Tauch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Herbert Nix and William Liddle were nominated as election judges far Precinct Number Sixteen. Mr. DeLa Rosa moved approval of William Liddle as Presiding Judge for that precinct. Mr. Cunningham seconded the mation. On roll call, the fo11awing vate was recorded: AYE: Cunningham, DeLa Rasa, King, Craddock, Flores, Tauch NAY: Dibrell. Mr. Cunningham moved approval of the Order Calling for the Special City Election (see attached). Mr. DeLa Rasa seconded the matian, which passed unanimously. Mr. King read the caption af an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 27 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE BY REPEALING ALL PREVIOUS TAXICAB RATES OF FARE AND ENACTING A NEW SUBSECTION TO SECTION 27-5 BY ESTABLISHING A SECTION 27-5(c) PROVIDING FOR THE AUTHORIZED RATE OF FARE OF TAXICAB PASSENGERS. I Mr. DeLa Rosa moved approval of the Ordinance on secand reading. Mr. Dibrell seconded the motian, which passed unanimously. Mr. King read the caption of an ordinance as fo11aws: AN ORIiINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS TEXAS AMENDING CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE III OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY, "FIRE PREVENTION CODE", BY AMENDING SECTION 13.1 TO INCLUDE A SUBSECTION C EXTENDING THE APPLICABILITY OF SAID SECTION FOR A DISTANCE OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS FOR A TOTAL OF FIVE THOUSAND FEET. Mr. Dibrell moved approval af the Ordinance on third and final reading. Dr. Tauch secanded the motion. On roll call, the fo11awing vote was recarded: AYE: Cunningham, Dibrell, King, Craddock, Flores, Tauch NAY: DeLa Rasa. Mayar King introduced a Resolutian and read its caption as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPOINTING ED JOHNSON OF THE SAN MARCOS POLICE DEPARTMENT AS DEPUTY MUNICIPAL COURT CLERK. Mr. Cunningham moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Dibrell secanded the mation, which passed unanimously. I Mr. Dibrell moved award of a bid far a 10,000 ga1lan ground starage tank in the amount of $3,450 fram Imperial Tank Company (see bid sheet attached), and apprapriation of $3,450 from the General Contingency Fund for that item. Dr. Craddock seconded the motian, which passed unanimously. Mr. Dibrell maved approval of the appaintment af Dr. James Crawford and Mr. Gene Funk ta the Parks and Recreation Board. Mr. DeLa Rosa seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
