<br />The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows:

<br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A BUILDING CODE TO GOVERN SPECIFICATIONS,
<br />MATERIALS AND METHODS OF ERECTION, CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT,
<br />ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, REMOVAL, CONVERSION, DEMOLITION,
<br />EQUIPMENT, USE AND OCCUPANCY, HEIGHT, AREA, LOCATION, AND
<br />MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES; PROVIDING FOR THE
<br />ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN I
<br />CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; ESTABLISHING
<br />PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

<br />Mr. Sutton moved the Ordinance be approved as an emergency; Mr. Hansen
<br />seconded the motion. The City Manager explained that the emergency was
<br />due to the request from the Department of Housing and Urban Development
<br />that the city codes relating to building, electrical work, housing,
<br />plumbing and fire prevention be updated as a part of the workable program
<br />immediately in order for the workable program to be approved. On roll
<br />call the motion passed unanimously. The Mayor declared the Ordinance
<br />Passed, Approved and Adopted.

<br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN ELECTRICAL CODE TO GOVERN WIRING AND
<br />DESIGN PROTECTION, WIRING METHODS AND MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT FOR GENERAL
<br />USE, SPECIAL OCCUPANCIES, SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SPECIAL CONDITIONS, AND
<br />COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS; PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS
<br />ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING
<br />A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; ESTABLISHING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS; AND
<br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

<br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor declared the

<br />PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL
<br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;

<br />WASTE PIPING AND SPECIAL WASTE, WATER SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION, DRAINAGE
<br />SYSTEMS, VENTS AND VENTING, STORM DRAINS, PLUMBING INSTALLATION, AND
<br />STANDARDS FOR MOBILE HOMES AND TRAVEL TRAILERS IN PARKS; PROVIDING FOR
<br />THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
