Mr. Flores seconded the m~tion. Terms of the contract were discussed. On roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Dela Rosa, Emery, Etheredge, Flores, King, Yarbrough NAY: None The Mayor declared the motion carried. The Mayor introduced two requests for trailer permits, forward- ed by Planning u Zoning Commission. Mr. King moved that a permit be issued to lynton Younger for a traile~to be placed on lot 8. Blk. 2, Lindsey-Harvey Addition. Mrs. Eme~y seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. King moved that a permit be issued to R.l. Boggus for a trailer to be placed on lot 4, Blk. 3. McAllister Addition. Mr. Flores seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. I The Mayor introduced an ordinance with the following c~ption: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE lOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS. STRUCTURES AND lAND, DATED MAY 23. 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF A 6.95-ACRE TRACT FACING RANCH ROAD 12. FROM "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY RESI- DENTIAL) TO "C" (COMMERCIAL) Mr. Flores moved approval of the o~dinance on second reading Mr. Etheredge seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor introduced an ordinance with the following caption: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ENTITLED "GARBAGE AND TRASH" BY DELETING SECTIONS 12-12 AND 12-16 THEREOF; SUBSTITUTING NEW SECTIONS UNDER THE SAME NUMBER BY CREATING AN ENTIRELY NEW SECTION 12-17, "DUMPING-SANITARY lANDFILL"; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECT~ IVE DATE I Mr. King moved that the ordinance be tabled on second reading until the next regular meeting. so that definitions of the' types of garbage' and trash affected by the ordinance could be clarified. Mr. Flores seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. ENTITLED "WATER AND SEWER AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL" BY DElETINGiHE'PRESENT SECTION 30':1, 30-2 AND 30-5 OF ARTICLE 1 THEREOF; SUI3STITUTING NEW SECTIONS UNDER THE SAME NUMBERS BY CREATING A NEW SECTION 30-7, "RECONNECT FEES"; DELETING THE PRESENT SECTIONS 30-27, 30-28 AND 30-35 OF ARTICLE 11 THEREOF; SUBSTITUTING NEW SECTIONS UNDER THE SAME NUMBERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECT- IVE DATE I
