Mrs. Emery seconded the motion and on rol I call the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: OeLa Rosa, Emery, Etheredge, Yarbrough, Flores, King, <br />Tauch <br /> <br />NA Y : None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion Passed, Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />The Mayor presented a petion received from eight~p~o~erty owners <br />located in the 300 block of Cheatham and Grove'Streets expressing <br />their satisfaction with the present status ofthe_al leyb~tween <br />the streets. See attachment. A previous request from David <br />Martinez to have the alley opened had been referred to the land <br />Committee on March 13. Mr. King reported that the situation <br />was still under study by the land Committee, and consideration <br />would be given the petition. <br /> <br />Mr. Gresham introduced for Counci I consideration a problem that <br />had developed on Hons Street, within the Urban Renewal River <br />Project. A survey revealed that a house had been built some years <br />ago on the street right-of-way. The house is scheduled for dem- <br />01 ition and the Urban Renewal Agency has requested a quitclaim deed <br />from the City so the project can proceed. The matter was referred <br />to the Land Committee for recommendation to the Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Wycoff and Mr. Joe Saker of lockwood, Andrews, and <br />Newnam, Inc. presented the final plans for the Sessom Drive project. <br />After discussion of the plans, Mrs. Emery moved to authorize the <br />plan and advertisement of bids.
