Conway Wharton, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, <br />gave the Invocation. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Apri I 24, 1972 meeting were p,resented for <br />approval. Counci Iman Cunningham asked ~hat an addition be made <br />to paragraph one, page two, relative to discussion on the Code <br />Enforcement Program. The City Secretary asked Mr. Cunningha.m for <br />the exact wordi ng of the addi t ion, in WI' i t i ng, so "j t coul d be <br />recorded proper I y. She, exp I a i ned that on I y act i on taken, by the <br />Council was required to be recorded in the Minutes. The Mayo~ <br />suggested that the matter be introduced at a subsequent meeting, <br />to be recorded in the Minutes. The Minutes of April 24 were <br />approved as presented, on motion of MF. DeLa Rbsa and second <br />of Dr. Tauch. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened a Pub lie Hear i ng on' a request for a change of <br />zoning from "R-l"to "c" on a4 acre tract owned by the local <br />chapter of the Knights, of Columbus. Mr. Carlos Rodriguez, ,Grand <br />Knight of Council 3458, came before the Council to state that his <br />organization intended to build a meeting hal I on the property to <br />be used by various organizations and groups in the community. He <br />said that Jt had been the Planning and Zonirig Commission's recom- <br />mendation, since the Knights of Columbus wished to rent the hall, <br />that they apply for the "c" classification.
