Baugh The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. I Mr. Flores introduced an ordinance authorizing the issuance of Cert; f i cates of Ob I i gat i on for constructi on of 'the Po lice and Cou rts Bu i I ding, Mr. King moved that the ordinance be adopted as an emergency measure. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion. Provisions of the ordinance were discussed. The question being cal led for, the fol lowing vote was recorded: AYE: NAY ~ DeLa Rosa, Etheredge, Flores, King, Tauch None The Mayor dec I ared the ord i nance Passed, Approved and Adopted. The Mayor introduced an ordinance awarding the contract for construction of the Pol ice and Courts Building to the low bidder. Mr. Flores asked the City Manager to explain possible deletions from the contract to reduce the total cost of the project to approximately $200,412.00. Mr. King moved adoption of the ordinance on an emergency basis, as recommended by the City Manager. Mr. Etheredge seconded the motion and on 1"01 I cal 17the following vote was recorded: I AYE: NA y~ DeLa Rosa, Etheredge, Flores, King, Tauch None The Mayor declared the ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. Mr. Etheredge moved appointment of J,R, Mol ina to a yearJ~ term as Municipal Court Judge. Dr. Tauch seconded the' motion which passed unanimously.
