<br />I <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />regular meeting, november 9, 1970 <br /> <br />page three <br /> <br />'1 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE DECLARING AND DETERMINING THE NECESSITY <br />FOR THE IMPROVEMENT AND ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT <br />OF CERTAIN STREETS OR AVENUES OR PORTIONS THEREOF, <br />APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CON- <br />STRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS AND RETAINING A FISCAL <br />AGENT, SPECIAL COUNSEL AND CONSULTING ENGINEER <br /> <br />Councilwoman Craddock moved that any rule requlrlng ordinances <br />to be read more than one time or at more than one meeting be <br />suspended. The motion was seconded by Councilman Zavesky and <br />on roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Contreras, Craddock, Flores, King, Smith, <br />Yarbrough, Zavesky <br /> <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Craddock moved that the Ordinance be passed finally. <br />Mr. Zavesky seconded the motion and on roll call, the following <br />vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Contreras, Craddock, Flores, King, Smith, <br />Yarbrough, Zavesky <br /> <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />The Mayor read a Proclamation declaring Monday, November 16 as <br />"Industrial Day in San Marcos". Mr. Yarbrough moved that the <br />Mayor issue the Proclamation. Mr. Zavesky seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />The Council adjourned at 8:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilman <br /> <br />~~u-~-:: f/ <br />Hollis W.
