Dr. Craddock second- ed the motion, which passed unanimously. The City Manager introduced for discussion an exchange of property between the ~ity and the Nelson Estate. The Mayor introduced an ordinance pertaining to the exchange, caption of which is as follows: I AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING PORTIONS OF VERAMENDI AND PARK STREETS, AS SHOWN ON THE PLAT OF H.A. NELSON'S FIRST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, OF RECORD IN VOLUME 89, PAGE 224, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS: RELINQUISHING TO EXA PHILLIPS NELSON, MARIAN NELSON MEEKS, HUGH A. NELSON, JR., AND REUBEN H. MEEKS, TRUSTEE, ALL RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, IN AND TO SAID STREET PORTIONS: AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER TO SAID PERSONS A QUIT-CLAIM DEED TO SAID STREET PORTIONS Mr. Yarbrough moved adoption of the Ordinance on first reading. Dr. Craddock seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Flores moved that the short passageway involved in the exchange be officially named "Pleasant Lane". Dr. Craddock seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. I Mr. Bean introduced a Resolution for Council study, with action to be considered at the Dec. 28 meeting. The Resolution, which was read and discussed, would implement one-way traffic on Guada- lupe and LBJ Drive "on or before December 28".
