<br />Mr. Zavesky moved approval ofi second reading of an
<br />ordinance annexing sections "C" & "D" of Hughson
<br />Heights, Mr. King seconded the motion, which passed
<br />unanimously.
<br />
<br />The Mayor read a letter from the Planning & Zoning
<br />Commission as an introduction to three requests for
<br />change of zoning. The letter is attached as a part
<br />of the Minutes.
<br />Mr. King moved approval of a change of zoning on a
<br />47-acre tract bounded by IH35 South, Redwood Road and
<br />the railroad tracks, from "R-l" (residential, single
<br />family) to "I" (industrial), as recommended by the
<br />Planning & Zoning Commission, A plat of the tract was
<br />examined. Mr. Yarbrough seconded the motion, which
<br />passed unanimously.
<br />Mr. Yarbrough moved approval of a change of zoning on
<br />property located at 715 West Hopkins Street, from "R-1"
<br />to "M"(mixed), as recommended by the Planning & Zoning
<br />Commission. Mr. Flores seconded the motion,
<br />Mr. Wallace Barber, attorney for Herman Korff, owner of
<br />the property, stated that all property-owners had been
<br />contacted within 200 feet, and none had voiced an object-
<br />ion to the change of zoning. On roll call, the following
<br />vote was recorded:

<br />NAY: None
<br />
<br />The Mayor declared the motion carried,
<br />
<br />Mr. Yarbrough moved approval of a change of zoning on
<br />property located at 705 West Hopkins, from "D"(multi-
<br />family) to "M"(mixed), as recommended by the Planning
<br />& Zoning Commission. Mr. Zavesky seconded the motion,
<br />which passed unanimously.

<br />Mr. Flores moved that Mrs. J.T. Avila be APpointed Pre-
<br />siding Judge of Precinct 6, for the April 6 City Officers'
<br />Election, Mr. King seconded the motion, which passed
<br />unanimously.
<br />Mr: King moved that Frank Taylor be named Presiding Judge
<br />of Precinct 11, f~r the April 6 City Officers' Election,
<br />Mr. Zavesky seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />The Mayor introduced a. proposal from Mr. J.C. Hartley,
<br />owner ~f an80-crypt mausoleum in the City Cemetery.
<br />Mr. Hartley, because of ill health, wished to deed the
<br />mauSOleUfll to the Ci ty of Sa(l Marcos.,. provid<;d perpetual
<br />care would b~ ~~aranteed to the owners of the crypts,
<br />and that he would be allowed 1;0 retain the five. crypts
<br />he had reserved for memb~rs of his family. Thirty-eight
<br />crypts remain unsold. A copy of his proposal is attached
<br />as a part of the Minutes. The matter was discussed, I
<br />Mr. King moved that the City accept Mr. Hartley's proposal,
<br />as presented. Mr, Flores seconded the motion and on roll
<br />call,. the following vote was recorded:
