Mli>nutes'of the June 14 public hearingsandregular.meeting were approved as presented. I The Mayor opened a public hearing at 7:00. He explained the purpose of the hearing ,was ,to consider a change of zoning from "R-l" to "M~ on Lot 32, Millview Addition. Jack Major, Building Inspector, said no one ,had opposed the change a,t the public hearing held by the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Commission approv- ed the change. No one came forward to speak for or against the change, and the Mayor declared the public hearing closed. The Mayor called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Yarbrough introduced and read aloud art ordinance amending the zOJ1-ing map tosh-ow a change ,on lot 32, Millview Addition, from "R_l" to "M". Mr. Flores moved approval of the ordinance on first reading. Mrs. Emery seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. De La Rosa moved that the following persons be appointed Presiding Judges in their respective precincts for the July 27 Special City Officers' Election: I Mrs. J.r . Avila, # 6; Carl Anderson, # 8; Jack Kercheville, # 10; Yancy Yarbrough, # 11; Joe Gonzales, # 12; MI"s. J.R. Thornton, # 13; and BIas Mendez, jr., # 14. Mr. Etheredge seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Order for Election, is. attached as a part of the Minutes. Mr. King moved that Jack Rieber be appointed to the Housing Board of Adjustment and Appeals. Mrs. Emery seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. De La Rosa moved that Gilbert Medina be appointed to fill the unexpired term of Ralph Gonzales on the Urban Renewal Board. Mr. Etheredge seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
