<br />september 13, 1971 <br /> <br />page four <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an ordinance with the following caption: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING <br />THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br />INTO SAID CITY <br /> <br />Mr. Etheredge moved approval on third and final reading <br />of the ordinance annexing 29.~2 acres into the City Limits. <br />Mr. Flores seconded the motion and on roll call, the followg <br />ing vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: DeLa Rosa, Emery, Etheredge, Flores, King, <br />Tauch, Yarbrough <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />Councilman King moved that the Council adopt <br />Budget, as presented. Mrs. Emery seconded the <br />call, the. following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />the 1971-1972 <br />motion. On roll <br /> <br />AYE: DeLa Rosa, Emery, Etheredge, Flores, King, <br />Tauch, Yarbrough <br /> <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />Dr. Tauch introduced for discussion the need for redrafting <br />the Zoning Ordinance. The City Manager said it was a task <br />for specialists. <br />CouncilmBn DeLa Rosa said he had had many complaints from <br />.ci tizens about the condition of Thorp Lane. The Mayor said I <br />they were still trying to aqquire the necessary right-of-way <br />to widen and pave the street. <br /> <br />Mr. Flores moved that Mrs. Laura L. Ramsay, Dr. Charles Willms <br />and Mr. Gilbert Medina be reappointed for a two-year term on <br />the Urban Renewal Board. Mr..
