Aguirre, Mr.& Mrs. Alex Tijerina, Mrs. Luci Machado I The Mayor called the meeting to order ~t 7~30 p.m. Mr. Serur said the League of Woman Voters had s~nt a repr~sentative to Council meetings since its organization, and he introduced Mrsi Courtney D. Marshall as th~ present m~mber given that responsibility. "And now", the~Mayor said, "we ari pleased that Associated Students of SWTSU have elected Martin 'Cherry to attend Council meetings." Mr. Serur welcomedMrs.Ma~shalland Mr. Cherry on behalf of the Council. The Minutes of the October 13. 1969 meeting were approved as presented, on motion of Mr. Zavesky and second of Mr. Smith. The Mayor property. third and roll call introduced an ordinance annexing the Josiephene Fields Dr. Craddock moved adoption of the Ordinance on the final reading. Mr. Zavesky seconded the motion and on the fol16wingvote was recorded: AYE: Craddock~ Contperas, FIbres, Serur, Sfuith, Zavesky NAY: None The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed. Approvedabd Adopted. I The Mayor recognized Tom Ford, Public Re~ations Department, Gary Job Corps Training Center. Mr. Ford introduced four Gary Corpsmen: Gerald Williams. Don Moo~ey, Troy Smith and Alfredo Chavez. Mr. Chavez, spokesman for.the delegation, extended an invitation ~o'~he Council to a~ Open House at Gary, October 29. Gerald William;; handed City offici Is printed invitations. The Mayor thanked the Corpsmen and Mr Ford, and said he and other Council- men would attend the Open H us~.
