Mr'. Dannelley introduced an ordinance amending the fire limits ordinance. Caption follows: I AN crRDINANCf AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 4, 1951, BY DELETING CERTAIN TERRITORY PRESENTLY WITHIN THE FIRE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; INCORPORATING HEREIN BY REF- ERENCE ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS HERETOFORE PROMULGATED BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS REGULATING FIRE LIMITS; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE Mr. Contreras moved adoption of the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. Smith seconded th~ motion and on roll call the following Vote was recorded: AYE: Craddock, Contreras, Dannelley, Flores, Smith. Zavesky NAY: None The Mayor Pro Tem declared the Ordinance passed on first reading. The Mayor Pro Tem intnoduced a petition for ann~xation of I 40.5 acres owned by Thermon Industrial Development Corp. Dr. Cradd06k moved that the Council approve the petition. Mr. Zavesky seconded the~otion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Dannelley read ~ letterf~om the Planning &'Zoning Commission, Hlrwarding a request for change of zoning on a 1.5 'acre tract, with a recommendation 'for approval. Dr. Craddock movedJ.the 1.5 aCre tract on Lamar Street owned by Mrs. Mayme Warren b~ changed from "R-I" to "D-multi-famil~". Mr. Floressec6ndedthe motion, and on roll call. the following vote was recorded: AYE: Craddock, Contreras, Dannelley, Flores, NAY:,Smith, Zavesky The Mayor Pro Tem declared the motion carried by a 4-2 vote.
