I AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING AND FIXING TIlE MAXI~1UM SCHEIlJLES OF RATES TO BE mARGEn BY PENNZOlL UNITED, INC. IN THE CIIT OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FOR NATURAL GAS AND NATIlRAL GAS SERVICE FURNISHED BY IT TO RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL CON- SUMERS, CDNTAINING DEFINITIONS, FIXING THE EFFECTIVE DATES OF GAS RATES PRESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, MAKING MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CD!\'FLICf. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CIIT COUNCIL OF TIlE CIIT OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Pennzoil United, Inc. is hereby authorized to place in effect the following schedules of rates wi thin the corporate limits of the Ci ty of San Marcos, Texas (hereinafter called "City") for the supply of natural gas and natural gas service: RESIDENTIAL RATES I Rate Schedule R-89, a copy of which is attached, marked Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof. CCH4ERCIAL RATES Rate Schedule SC- 89, a copy of which is attached, marked Exhibit "B", and made a part hereof. The above described schedule of residential rates and of cormnercial rates are the highest rates that may be charged by Pennzoil United, Inc. for residential consumers and connnercial consumers wi thin the City. Other lower residential rates and commercial rates may be fixed and determined from time to time by Pennzoil United, Inc. for gas and gas service furnished to residential consumers and commercial consumers within the City. SECfION 2. That the terms "residential consumer" and "connnercial conslUUer" as used herein shall be defined as set out in said Exhibits "A" I and "B", respectively. SECTION 3. That natural gas supplied by PelUlzoil United, Inc. is for the individual use of the consumer at one point of delivery and shall not be resold or shared with others. SECTION 4.
