Mr. Zavesky seconded the motion and on <br />roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Contreras, Craddock, Flores, King, Smith, <br />Yarbrough, Zavesky <br /> <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />The City Manager introduced for consideration a corrected <br />deed for property purchased by the City for construction of <br />the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Mr. Bean explained that it <br />was a case of "mutual misunderstanding- about the exact boundary, <br />and involved only a 30=ft. strip of land. Mr. Zavesky moved <br />approval of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a correct- <br />ed deed for the Sharp property; Mr. Flores seconded the motion, and <br />on roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Contreras, Craddock, Flores, King, Smith, Yarbrough, Zavesky <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Resolution Passed and Approved. <br /> <br />The City Manager called to the attention of the Council that the <br />stipend for the City Health Officer had never been mncreased from <br />the original figure set many years before. Mr. Bean said the $50 <br />salary was not in keeping with other cities of comparable size, <br />and recommended that it be raised to $100 a month. Dr. Craddock <br />moved that the salary of the City Health Officer be increased <br />from $50 to $100 a month.
