Mr. Zavesky seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Contreras, Craddock, Flores, King, Smith, Yarbrough, Zavesky NAY: None The Mayor declared the motion carried. The City Manager introduced for consideration a corrected deed for property purchased by the City for construction of the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Mr. Bean explained that it was a case of "mutual misunderstanding- about the exact boundary, and involved only a 30=ft. strip of land. Mr. Zavesky moved approval of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a correct- ed deed for the Sharp property; Mr. Flores seconded the motion, and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: NAY: Contreras, Craddock, Flores, King, Smith, Yarbrough, Zavesky None The Mayor declared the Resolution Passed and Approved. The City Manager called to the attention of the Council that the stipend for the City Health Officer had never been mncreased from the original figure set many years before. Mr. Bean said the $50 salary was not in keeping with other cities of comparable size, and recommended that it be raised to $100 a month. Dr. Craddock moved that the salary of the City Health Officer be increased from $50 to $100 a month. Mr. Contreras seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
