AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A 1ST AMENDED COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FOR THE UNDERTAKING AND COMPLETION OF A NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, TITLED PRO- GRAM TEX. A-6, WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY I WHEREAS, the City entered into a Cooperation Agreement with the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos, Texas, July 22, 1969, for the undertaking and carrying out of certain urban re- newal activities in the City of San Marcos, including particularly the project called Neighb~hood Development Program, Tex. A-6, in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan for said project, and pursuant to the provisions of said Urban Renewal Law of Texas; and WHEREAS, subsequent to said date it has been determined that certain urban renewal activities should be changed as recommended by the Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, all other provisions of said approved agreement should remain in full force and effect; and WHEREAS, the City and the Agency now desire to enter into a 1st Amended Cooperation Agreement for the purpose of expediting and assuring the completion of a Neighborhood Development Program titled Program No. Tex. A-6, located within the city limits of the City of San Marcos, Hays County~ Texas; I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS: 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a 1st Amended Cooperation Agreement with the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos for the undertaking and completion of a Neighborhood Development Program, titled Program No. Tex. A-6, within the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas. 2. The 1st Amended Cooperation Agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof. I
